Hello & Thanks for stopping by my site, most of my pictures are from the Salem Illinois area.  I have been shooting trains since late 2005 but Ive been a railfan since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I cant explain it its just something Ive always been interested in. Another railfan explained it to me before as, all kids love trains at sometime in their life its just that some of us kids never loose that love.

The quality of my pictures is nowhere near professional but Im shooting for my enjoyment... not anybody elses.  Im always open to suggestions, tips, or ways I can improve my pictures and Ill take constructive criticism but I feel that if you dont have anything good to say then dont say anything.

The earlier pictures that I have posted here I used a P&S Kodak EasyShare CX6330. Around March of 07 I bought and am currently using a Nikon D40. I hope you enjoy the photos & find the correct information with them. If something is not correct please let me know & I will get it corrected as soon as I can. Feel free to contact me if youre ever planning a trip to the Salem and/or surrounding area. Im more than willing to provide any information that I can about the area.
